Appearance

You will have a hard time telling these two apart. They have the same design and similar color scheme.

When you look a little closer, you will notice that the V10 is slightly bulkier than the V11. Furthermore, the V11 is a little curvier and has a sleeker design.

The airflow was at about 41 cfm at the wand and 33 cfm at the brush head. These ratings were measured in the max mode.

Those ratings indicate some serious power from a cordless vacuum. However, when compared to the Dyson V11, it comes in as a runner up.

The V11 recorded 59 cfm of airflow at the wand and 49 cfm with the brush head on. With this kind of boundary-breaking suction power, uprights vacuums might become obsolete in the nearest future.

 

Battery Life

Both the V11 and V10 run on a lithium-ion battery. One of the ways the V10 wowed us was with its runtime. This cordless vacuum reached the hour mark which some other cordless vacuums still have not managed to achieve.

The runtime difference between these two is not so significant but if you break down the performance time, you can’t miss the improvement.

On low power, the V11 offers 74, 81, and 66 minutes of runtime if you use the crevice tool, fluffy brush roll, and the torque head respectively.

On medium power, the runtimes are 39, 40, and 43 minutes respectively using the same attachments as above.

When you go all out in the max mode, you will get 9, 14, and 8 minutes of runtime with those same tools on.

Let us do a quick round up of the runtimes on the V10 for the sake of comparison.

In the low power, you will get roughly 61, 56, and 46 minutes to work with the attachment tools mentioned above.

On the medium power setting, the runtimes are 30, 28, and 36 minutes. While the max mode offers you 5, 9, and 6.5 minutes of runtime.

As you have seen so far, Dyson has now bridged that gap.   The Dyson V11 can very well deep clean carpets more than a lot of upright vacuums. The V11 achieved a 91% performance in low power, 98% on medium, and did 100% on high power! Incredible, right?	Same as the V11.   However, the V10 even though it did not perform as well as the V11, it still did better than some uprights.   It scored 82% on low power, 89% on medium, and 99% in max mode.   With these numbers, are you getting ready to dump the uprights too?
The V11, as expected is excellent with its cleaning performance and there is hardly anything to complain about.   On hard floors with large debris, you might have a bit of an issue but if you keep the gates on the brush head all the way open and move the brush head around a bit, you should pick everything up eventually. Dyson V11 vs V10 – General Feeling Among Users

The Dyson V11 is a fairly new cordless vacuum so not a lot of people have written reviews about it.   As we expected, a lot of those who have used it love the vacuum. Honestly, what is there not to love?   The suction power, of course, won a lot of users’ heart. The cleaning performance too had the same effect.   From fine dust on hard floors to large debris on carpets, and then hairs, the V11 picked them all up.	A user that has allergy issues praised the V10 for filtering really well. She claims that the air coming out of the vacuum is clean since she does not get reactions after vacuuming anymore.
An arthritic user was amazed at how it was for her to use this vacuum.   She was initially surprised that it weighed over 7 pounds but when she used it, she was further surprised that she did not feel all that weight on her hand.	A certain user took his time to test how the V10 performs on crevices. He claimed that his V10 cleaned up the dirt in the crevices between his tiles in just one pass!   That was on high power though. He said it took about 3 passes on low power to for the same effect.
Another user shared his experience at how easy he and his family found the vacuum to use. He mentioned that changing attachment tools was quite easy as well.   He further said the roller stopped spinning (others have complained about this too).
